We had a busy month! Our team hosted after school soccer, special field days, attended outreach events and more. We tried to squeeze every opportunity in before kids let out for summer. #ASACommunity

  • Tabling at RecFest at Samuel Tucker
  • Mount Vernon Community School PTA and ASA Family day at Four Mile RunMVCS PTA hosted their 2nd annual Family Day at Four Mile Run and we were thrilled to bring soccer equipment and small sided games to the fun day. Outside of soccer, other activities offered were arts and crafts, face painting, and free books were provided for all families in attendance.

YIPs Championship Match (May 2nd) — After a full school year of attending soccer sessions once a week, our YIPs friends at Minnie Howard and Alexandria City HS culminated their school year with an end of year game. A tough battle back and forth between the two groups led to the game being resolved in a penalty shootout ultimately leading to the sophomores at ACHS ending as champions.

5th Grade Field Days — ASA helped close out the year and celebrate the fifth graders at Cora Kelly, James K. Polk and William Ramsay with end of year Field Days.
