Free After School Soccer

In 2018 we launched the Access4All Project to encompass scholarship support, outreach activities and free soccer leagues.

Our free After School Soccer Leagues provide soccer programming at title 1 elementary schools, middle schools and Alexandria City High School. The leagues remove common barriers to play by being both free and located at the school.

"Our students, staff, and the whole community loved this opportunity. All the coaches brought such positive energy into our school environment. The students would feed off of their energy and love for soccer. You all are amazing!"

- Jasibi Crews-West, Cora Kelly Principal

The After School Soccer Leagues were historically hosted at title 1 Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) elementary schools. During the 2022-2023 School year ASA expanded to host free leagues at all title 1 elementary school, GW Middle School and Alexandria City High School. After School soccer is free for participants and offered at each school to remove transportation barriers. ASA coaches sets up mini soccer fields with pop-up goals and cones. Kids are given a healthy snack after school and then ushered outside to play (in their free jersey)! Professional coaches from ASA facilitate activities and games, kids play!
